What with our wayward lad??

Rumour had it he could be pencilled in for the Charlton game but nil heard??

Could he likely be playing for the stiffs b4 actually turning out for the first XI? Would make sense.

Still trying to work out the format when he returns, think it could be quite exciting.

Or it could be like when we signed Asprilla. You feel you have to play him, but the formation suffers.

An old debate, but I still maintain signing Asprilla had nothing to do with us blowing the title. It was clear for all to see at the start of the season that we had a dreadfully tough run-in following a relatively easier early season. A fit Dyer is better in any position in our midfield (with the possible exception of the left side) than any of the players we've currently got, and in any formation we might play. End of story.

2 excellent observations raised by Nick and Derek , both having merits I work the simple theory, always play your best possible team availible, if you got to hurt certain individuals along the way-tough

The Journal this morning quotes Solano saying that KD has looked great in training this week.
They reckon that if everything goes well he will play in the Reserve game next week, and possibly be on the bench for the PL game next weekend at Ipswich.

Sounds as if Nobby was wanting to star in one of LKD's home videos! I was quite surprised how gushing the little Nob was about his mate.

... ie. big Nob!

You can't help thinking that Nobbs is being daft saying that his form depends on Dyer..

Yes Dougal - I thought he could have phrased it better. More along the lines of "looking forward to teaming up with LKD again". It sounded more like an excuse for his cr@p form of late (Tuesday excepted).

what nobby said "oh si, i am looking forward to Dyer returning" "he really complements my style of play" what the papers say "i cannot operate without Dyer, in fact i rather stand still and don't play"

BR interview on Sky said Dyer has a reserve game next week then on the bench for Ipswich, then properly available for selection to play er properly.
