For years I have used and printed on graded papers. The variety of manufacturers that produced those great papers are now out of the business or have expanded into the variable contrast market. So I now am trying to print on Variable Contrast paper with the appropriate set of filters with some success,but I find that I'm not able to properly select the correct #filter to exploit all that is in the negative. then I heard about a split-filtering method of exposure. Is there anyone who can enlighten me with information on how it works or where I can read more about it.Ofcourse I will continue to fumble and experiment my way through until I find my way,but I would appreciate any words of encouragment or information on the subject.I will respond with a thank you.Thank You!!
