Recently we got an e-mail titled "Hot Naked Chicks on The Farm".

Imagine our disappointment when they were naked ladies and not Wyandottes!

Damn the luck!! Don'tcha just hate it when that happens?! (I'd be hoping for Brown Leghorns, myself....)

I keep getting these "Naked Teen" e-mails - right, like I don't already have a half naked one of THOSE running around in the house! Although, come to think of it, from the piles of laundry around here, there might be a whole herd of them here for all I know!

Ooh, you guys are brave, opening those! Since that one virus/worm came out with "sexy fun" in the subject line (or was it the sender), I am suspicious of any of them that mention sex.

I can't delete without clicking on them, Joy; not to mention that "naked teens" doesn't leave much to the imagination, title wise. Oh heck; gotta enjoy the spam somehow! Mine all started after my husband started posting on a ezboard garage gym forum - well, guess we know what those guys do when they're not pumping iron - hmmph!

When you first started talking about "naked chicks" I thought you were talking about those naked-necked chickens!!!!! Yup...that one went right over my head. DUH!!! No blonde comments either, please :-).

We are getting a lot of porn spam on email these days. We didn't solicit it! Anyone else see an increase lately?

yup, getting lots..........wish it would go away. I am ABSOLUTELY positive that no one has visited a phorn site from my computer, since I am the only one that uses it. Yahoo box is bad but the hotmail address gets downright gross. Like in the subject heading..........I would never even check my mail at hotmail if my grandchildren that can read were with me.

Polly, There is a way to delete the line without opening it. I can't remember how it is done though. I'm sorry. Someone else can probably tell you though.

Oh, I thought Polly meant she couldn't RESIST opening them. Yeah, there's a way to change it so that they don't open automatically when you click on them, at least in Outlook Express:

In Outlook Express, click on VIEW (top bar), then LAYOUT. Uncheck the box under Preview Pane. This means that in the future, you will have to double click on each email if you want to open it and read it. A single click will highlight the email and you can then delete it without opening. I also then go to my deleted items file and delete that one immediately (my computer is set to permanently delete all of it when I close down the computer, but I am happier getting rid of it right away). Having the preview pane is much nicer and handier, but that's how you get viruses/worms!

Thanks Joy!! I am pretty much computer illiterate (or so I think, until I get to work and see some of those folks!) and had no idea that I didn't have to take the e-amil set up as is - or, as was; as the case now is. I also dump my deleted files as soon as I delete them; just makes me feel better some how.
