(13:50) Zinni: 'This is the deepest evil that one can imagine'

US envoy Anthony Zinni made a brief visit to the site of yesterday's terror attacks in Jerusalem.

"First let me express my condolences to the families that lost children here in this terrible, horrible, evil action, and also to express my heartfelt concern to those who were injured," Zinni said earlier this afternoon at Zion Square.

"As the President says, we must stay united in this, we must fight this," he continued.

"This is the deepest evil that one can imagine, to attack young people and children, to attack rescue and emergency vehicles that are trying to come in.

"This is the lowest form of inhumanity that can be imagined, and I think that it is important that we stay together to fight this; that we do not let it deter us from our goal for peace, and that we stand together and make the world see that we will not tolerate this," Zinni said.

Hecklers shouted slogans at Zinni during the heavily guarded visit.
