Melissa, I am very much enjoying this forum, and just persuaded a good friend of mine to come and take a look a couple of days ago. She seemed to enjoy also, and says she even put her two-cents'-worth in at a couple of spots. Thanks, and keep up the good work!

I guess the best thing I can say is it's forums like this that represent what I thought the internet could be. Thanks for all of your efforts here, Melissa.

I finally figured it out why this forum is different, most just want you to ask questions. This one is much more, here we get to know each other and can just make everyday conversations. We can talk about alot of things, not just homesteading things. I like the other forums, but it just not as friendly as here. So it's been two months, seems longer. Thanks Melissa for keeping this a nice place to visit. My Norton is keeping the viruses out. Thank you Lord,so I can keep on writing.

Congratulations, Melissa, for an excellent job at moderating CF. I'm one of the newcomers, and have felt very much at home. In fact, this forum has such an open, friendly atmosphere, that I was surprised to learn it's only two months old. It is not an easy job to get a forum going and keep people interested in it.

On another note, but related to the friendliness of the forum, just wanted to share that, in the last week, two poetry magazines sent me acceptance notices that two poems each were accepted for publication. So I'm in a very good mood today!

Blessings,

I am glad you are all still enjoying it, and congrats Randal! I know you are certainly blessed with the gift of poetry! Thanks to all of you who keep this going when I run out of ideas!!

Happy Anniversary to Us! I feel like we are old friends, are you sure it has only been 2 months?

I'm Positive! I wrote the first post on October 2, 2001, and Hoot posted the first response before I even advertised the forum. I still don't know how he found it with, but maybe he saw it on the list of Lusenet forums. I just thought it was great that he was first, becasue I had really missed his stories!
