Yes, please help...and include how to make the photo from the scanner (paperport) into a gif or jpeg file if necessary.

Thank you.

I could tell you how to upload them, but I think that they have to be the proper size first. Hope Jim sees this soon, cause I don't know about that part of it.

It's been so long since I've used Bravenet's photo album that I'm a little hazy on the details. I do think the photos need to be smaller than 1MB each (and in jpg format). Is that what you remember, Joy? The best way to find out how big your photos are is to go to the folder where they are stored and right click on one of the files and choose Properties. That will tell you how big the file is and what format it's in.

I use a program called ULEAD SmartSaver Pro to compress and optimize photos for uploading to the Net. You could do a Google search to see if there is any freeware out there that does the same thing. But I think SmartSaver Pro is excellent and well worth the money.

As far as uploading to Bravenet, just go to our Portal: http://www20.brinkster.c om/yggdrasill/ and click on the BTS Photo Center button. Then click on Upload New Photos and follow the prompts. It's pretty straightforward, IMO.

As for using your scanner, Anne, I've had virtually no experience with them (I'm hoping this will change in the next month or two) and I Imagine that each brand is slightly different in how they operate. The best advice I can give is to consult the help section of the software installed on your computer that runs the scanner.

Sorry I couldn't be more help to you guys. I'm gonna be offline for a couple of days as I've got one whopper of a cold (Ruth was kind enough to share hers with me). :-(
