Dear Marcia, I'm sending emotional strength and empathy your way up there in the Great Northwoods.

It never gets any easier having our family members put down, truly wrenches the heart, you will be in my thoughts until the pain of loss lessens for you.

Marcia, I will be thinking of you and your loss. It is so hard to go through the loss of our faithful and devoted animal friends. I still miss my kitty "Little Sister". Sending you peace and love.

Marcia,

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. We had to put one of our cats to sleep a couple years ago and I had *incredible* difficulty in dealing with it so I can empathize with where you're at right now. Why do they have to leave us? It's not fair... :-(

Marcia, I'm finally beginning to get to the point where I think I might be able to make a commitment to a dog. They seem so amazingly wonderful, and yet I have never had one. I'm afraid of how much love I would have for a dog! The pain you are feeling must be so intense. I am so sorry for you and will lift you up in prayer.

When hubby and I returned home late this afternoon, I was so surprised to see all the support and caring that was posted here. You folks are all so wonderful!! We left early Saturday morning and headed towards New Brunswick...just wanted to drive and get away. It was nice just to play "tourist" and not think about what had happened. "Tabitha" was the second dog in our 30 yr. marriage that hubby had to put down and it will be awhile before he gets over it! But coming here and seeing how much you all cared has really helped him. Thank you all so much!!!
