Hemorrhagic Diseases

There are a number of them, Ebola being the most deadly. When I was at A.I.D., there was an outbreak in Africa (I don't think it was Ebola) and there was some interest (not all that much, actually) in work my Father had done in the 40s and 50s. He had been a naturalist, involved in wildlife management, and had studied a deadly hemorrhagic disease affecting muskrats.

Shortly after posting above, I read an Ebola story on Yahoo (there's a ton of them) which stated that Ebola usually kills its victims faster than it can spread, burning itself out. Pray we don't get a mutation for which that is not true.

You've had some interesting experiences, Peter!

Yes, I'm concerned about Ebola, too, but I'm more concerned about dirty nukes and more easily spread annoyances, such as e. coli and other food-borne illnesses occurring in the US.

I think Ebola requires a tad more skill to manipulate than the afore mentioned bacteria.
