German Pottery

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Art Deco Society of Washington : One Thread

Does anyone know anything about the German pottery manufacturer who leaves a mark as follows: The words "Art Ceramic" and "Germany" encircle the letters "D" and "M" and between those two letters within a hexagon is a stylized letter "B". I have two pitchers with these marks. Each pitcher also has a four digit number and an "M" floating elsewhere. I am not certain they are art deco but clearly they were made before World War II. Any help would be appreciated.
