If you could write an Aeon Flux episode...

If you could write an episode what you call it and what would the story be? Here is a short idea I came up with...

Title: Anima/Animus (of course the title is esoteric!)

Premise: Trevor Goodchild's experiements in genetics has created a gene code for the perfect being combining male and female genders, making the rest of the human race obsolete.

It's none of Aeon's business...(chuckle!)

I will have to work on it more...but what are your ideas!? Please share them!

Last night I dreamt I went to Bregna again.

You won't believe this but there is a parallel universe on this board with an exact duplicate of this column!

Sorry, couldn't resist, nice premise but I bet Trevor keeps a female sample or two seperate for shall we say 'experiments'.

If I could write an epi, it would include Donna Matrix. She was one of the coolest "minor" characters in the series. And in "War" she didn't die. But considering the nature of the series, even if she did die, I suppose Chung could bring her back to life.

Hey, if that was really her name do you think she might make a cameo in Animatrix? By the way, I've been meaning to ask where everybody is getting the names of these characters. The warriors in War, Trevor's goons, I don't remember ever hearing their names in the series.

Anima/Animus... isn't that a Banshees/Siouxie Sioux album? No, Philip Glass. That's it.

Anima/Animus: In Jungian psychology: The feminine inner personality, as present in the unconscious of the male. It is in contrast to the animus, which represents masculine characteristics.

Don't know if Glass or Siouxie used it or not but I chose this from a book on Jung to represent the concept Trevor has in my story to create a new gender out of the old genders. Freaky huh?

Okay I got another idea for an episode...

Title: Pedagogy

Premise: Aeon takes Una under her wing (ha!) to train as a renegade spy in order to infiltrate Bregna to start an "underground railroad" for Breen citizens wishing to escape the watchful eyes of Trevor Goodchild. Una is much changed due to a nasty bugbite...her left hand is replaced with a foot...but she is ok with it! Aeon's plans are halted with the emergence of the Hemiurge...a half bird half god creature that wants to spread instant happiness to the the two provinces.

Una calls on her Seraphtrev, who dies in a fight with the Hemiurge but thankfully he was able to thwart the creature before his death.

So anyway...Aeon catches Trevor, Una-handed... and goes beserk. Trevor sends his little brats to fight Aeon but she kills them with two shots of her gun shaped like an ashtray. Una confesses the only reason she took Aeon's asignment was to be with Trevor.

Aeon and Una have the catfight of the century and Trevor watches with delight. Una dies of course. Disgusted with Trevor for the final time she leaves Bregna vowing never to return. On her way out of Trevor's bedroom she steps on a rather sharp unpoped piece of corn and dies instantly...in agonizing pain.

Trevor then moves all his forces into Monica making it part of Bregna and everybody's lives are watched by Trevor and his pet narghile. (chuckle!)
