From one animal lover to another....that site is neat! My personal favorite has to be Kate! She is the cutest Iguana! I can just imagine your UPS guy when he brings a package to your door! heehee! Great job Shannon!

Nice site Shannon! Enjoyed looking at the photos and reading the stories. We ourself have 3 rescue dogs, 2 rescue cats( one shot on purpose in shoulder by man trying out his new gun!) Also one rescue sheep and 2 rescue geese!Once I retire, I would like to do more rescue...especially for the older cats and dogs no one wants. Kate

Hi! I love your site. I recently visited a wonderful animal sanctuary called Gentle Barn in the Los Angeles area, Calif. It was my first time at an animal sanctuary and it was an amazing experience. Website: http://gentlebarn.com/

Thanks for the kind words, I have passed them on to the website designer, as she is the one who does all the hard work. Kathy, try as I might, I can't figure out the gem-eating chicken thing...?

Is she referring to the chicken that ate the woman's earring? I was trying to figure that one out too!

Neat web site. I am a long time animal rescuer. Some of them still haunt me. I'm not sure why folks get animals when they really want a stuffed toy. Maybe we don't teach nuturing enough.
