I don't think this formula has even been published. All I know about it's formulation is that it's a PQ (phenidone/hydroquinone) developer. It's a fine developer, as commercial products go. I definitely preferred it to D-76.If you want a developer you can mix yourself that will yield excellent results, check out Pat Gainer's vit-c article and formulas at unblinkingeye.com. His formula is decidedly better than FG7, with or without SS added.

It hasn't been discontinued to my knowledge, get it off the shelf. I used to mix it 15/1 and add a film can of sodium sulfite. Best developer ever for Kodak's HIE Infrared, and damn fine for tri-x at asa 640 (for me). The SS directions are on the bottle... t
