Anyone use Farm Works software?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I'm thinking of getting Farm Trac and Farm Stock; anyone use these? Do they run smoothly? They are supposed to be coming out with a program to record dairy info for animals other than cows and in metric units so it's looking better than the program I was thinking about. Any feedback would be appreciated. TIA

I use a record system from my tax accountants that's compatable with their tax software. It's horrible. Farm Works has a book keeping package as well Farm Works it links with the other components they have. Looks good and has always had decent reviews from Ag Online's crowd.

I've found quickbooks works great for any accounting I have to do. If you need it to keep track of stock facts as in production statistics, It won't work for that, but those figures are eacy to keep on an excel spreadsheet.

I have found that the more I work with Excel the more I love it. Once you get the hang of making your formulas etc.it is a real piece of cake.
