Diesel Locomotives Roster

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Central of Georgia Railway Historical Soc : One Thread

I have published an interactive Central of Georgia diesel locomotives roster to the Web site. It is similar to the recently published Survivors List.

Come to the CofGa Rwy HS Home Page to check out this new database.

This new database has been under construction for some time and I believe that the bugs are worked out, but please let me know of any problems.

There is an G&F caboose here in Alexander City, Alabama where I live. It is painted in the later Central of Georgia scheme but it is the original Georgia & Florida X65 cab. It is now privatly owned and is in the process of being refurbished to its original look.

I want to know if any Georgia & Florida rail equipment is still running. I know the tracks in Greenwood, South Carolina were torn up about 1974. My grandfather worked for that company. Thank you if you could tell me. I collect and run trains.
