We live in south Misissippi. I have looked all over for some dogs! If you can help it would be a great help.

Forgot to ask (not that I can guarantee anything) but did you want one of the fine boned small ones or the stocky more Setter like versions? Mine are bigger rather than smaller. Colour preference? Always partial to the orange ones myself but we have a nice liver and white (retired)that is a pretty enough dog too. I heard of a fellow inporting and breeding non AKC or CKC registered black and whites too. But I forget where, i could ask my dad.

There are several listings in the N.C. "Agricultural Review" that offers AKC reg. brits--Email me if you want names and numbers.

I, also like the larger boned britts. Orange and white is my favorite- -we have a 10 yr. male.

What do you want the dog for hunting , companion ? This will lead you to the right breeder.Hunting lines will be much more active. If you want a companion go for obedience/show lines.Make sure any and all health clearences are done on the parents and get a gurantee in writing .Good luck
