Cookie Monster

CookieMonster is a great little freeware program for Internet users. Cookies are a problem--you can't live with them, and you can't live without them. On the one hand, many of your favorite sites won't run properly if you turn off cookie acceptance, and on the other hand, those cookies may sit around transmitting your personal information back to some remote server. The best you can do is accept the cookies and then delete them later. CookieMonster will locate cookies from Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, and Opera and allow you to delete them with a mouse click.

Underlining In Microsoft Internet Explorer

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and greater underlines each link on a page by default. If you'd rather not have the links underlined, you can easily turn off this feature. Choose Tools|Internet Options. When the Internet Options dialog box opens, click the Advanced tab. In the "Underline Links" area, select Hover or Never. Click OK and the underlines no longer appear.
