What do we really know about Alexander's family and private life? How was his relationship with his parents, with his friends and with Aristotle? How was he, not as general or a king, but as a person?

Hey Ms Helen, don't you ever talk about Alexander the great this way. No doubt he's the best leader and politician the world has ever seen. The thing that really matters is what he did for the world. We shouldn't mind what he did in his private life cause it's all his. So, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!

He loved his mother deeply and forgave her weaknesses. he also loved and respected Aristotle as his only true Teacher. He had a Queen, Roxana, whom he loved but also married for political reasons, two political wives (two daughters of Darius) Barsine and Stateira, he fell in love with another Barsine, wife of his late adversary. Thais apprently was his lover too, for a short while (no hard evidence though). But his true love was Melissa who remained unknown to history.

WE KNOW VERY LIL OF HIS PRIVATE LIFE BUT WE KNOW THAT ALEXANDER AND HIS MOTHER HAD A VERY CLOSE RELATIONSHIP SHE HAD A LOT OF INFLUENCE OVER HIM MAYBE MORE THAN WAS ''HEALTHY ''AND AS FOR HIS FATHER HE WAS WELL TO SAY THE LEAST UNIQUE HE WAS A GREAT WOMANISER HE SLEPT WITH BOTH MEN AND WOMAN AND WAS AN ALCOHOLIC . ALEXANDER THE GREAT MOST LIKELY WAS A BISEXUAL HE HAD A PERSIAN LOVER NAMED BAGOAS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH HIS ENEMY ALSO CALLED BAGOAS HE HAD A LOVER NAMED BARSINE SHE HAD HIS SON NAMED HERCULES HE ALSO HAD 7 OTHER spouse's . I THINK AFTER YOU READ A LOT ABOUT ALEXANDER AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE TIMES HE WAS BORN IN MAYBE IN SOME WAYS YOU COULD UNDERSTAND HIM YOU WILL EATER LAHERN TO REJECT HIS IDLES OR EMBRACE ALEXANDER WITH A PASSION WE cannot JUGE SOMEONE WE DO NOT KNOW THERE FOR NO ONE CAN ANSWER How was he, not as general or a king, but as a person?
