I once met someone who was close friends with the owners of the San Francisco Chronicle, that is, before the current Hearst owners. And I was told a bizarre story once which I believe someone else had once told me about that didn't know this same person I knew. It was a long long time ago but it stands out and it went like this. Mike De Young, owner of the Chronicle had a maid which he had an affair with and the result was a child. It would be very interesting to find out who this maid was and if that child's descendants are still around. Does anyone else know anything about this private affair?
