He is rich who is satisfied with what he has.

To have what we want is riches, but to be able to without is power.

It is what you learn after you know it all that counts.

This is on the light side, but a lady at church said it last night while sharing with everyone. "Without God, you're a blowed duck." You would have to know this lady maybe for it to be as funny to you as to me but she is something.

I especially like the third line.

I know all the ins and outs of poverty. But there's one thought that very few discuss. We're(Christians) King's kids. Being rich monetarily (we're not) is not bad. We're entitled-If you're walking with God, so it doesn't get out of hand. But after all is said and done, being in God's will is what's best. (hope this makes sense). Feel free to put this in better phrasing.

I like what our Pastor said last night. He was talking about how even though God always knows what is in our hearts, no one here on earth does, they only know what they see - how we behave in situations, how we treat others, what music we listen to, what movies we watch, etc. I know most of us, that are Christians, have always been taught that our lives may be the only "Bible" some read, but our Pastor put in a way that I thought made it very interesting to remember he said that we need to make sure we are a "good version and not a perversion." I don't know that it was his original quote, but one that I will always remember.
