color negative developing

greenspun.com : LUSENET : developing for dummies : One Thread

I am curious as to how to go about, developing my own color photos instead of taking them into a photo shop. I have a lot of rolls of film and I can not afford to take them all to be developed and printed by someone else. If anyone can help me out it would be a tremendous help. Thank you all.

It will cost you more to buy the chemicals and equipment to do it than to just pay someone with the equipment to do it. If you want to develope your own negatives, you should do it for the fun of it, not to save money. At least not the initial cost.
