Black Hawk Down, the book

Nephew #2 as a Christmas present gave me this book. Nephew #2 is very liberal. He said "After reading this book, you'll really be angry at Clinton." I'm sure I will be.

Black Hawk Down, not to be featured in the Slick Willy Presidential Library.

Isn't a movie by the same title scheduled to be released soon?

-- Pammy (pamela_sue57@hotmail.com), January 01, 2002.

Pammy, yes, and it is supposed to be excellent.

-- Peter Errington (petere7@starpower.net), January 01, 2002.

Why would a liberal give you a book that would make you mad at Clinton? (lol, as if you aren't already mad at him!)

-- (huh?@ditto.head), January 01, 2002.

My nephew is a liberal, but he's an honest liberal.

-- Peter Errington (petere7@starpower.net), January 01, 2002.

I thought that was an oxymoron.

Never mind I thought I was reading TB2K.

-- Jack Booted Thug (governmentconspiracy@NWO.com), January 01, 2002.

"My nephew is a liberal, but he's an honest liberal."

I'd venture to guess that he is a weak liberal, gullible enough to believe that everything he reads is true.

-- (rightwingers@chronic.liars), January 01, 2002.

To "rightwingers@chronic.liars":

I'd venture a guess that you're gullible enough to swallow whatever the Clinton spin machine comes out with.

-- Peter Errington (petere7@starpower.net), January 01, 2002.

8 years of prosperity and peace is fine with me, if that's what the "spin machine" produces.

-- (yep@i'll.take.it), January 01, 2002.

He let a great danger to this nation build up (Somalia was an important chapter in this sad story), but then got out and left the terrible consequences for Bush to deal with.

-- Peter Errington (petere7@starpower.net), January 01, 2002.

LOL! You are confused Oh Simple One!

Go back a little farther in history and study what Reagan and Daddy Bush did, then you will know why Dumbya is in this mess. The fact that Clinton was able to avoid disaster and create an entirely positive experience for 8 years is proof of his genius and superb character.

-- LOL (Reagan @ funded. Al Qaeda), January 01, 2002.

“The fact that Clinton was able to avoid disaster and create an entirely positive experience for 8 years is proof of his genius and superb character.”

Surely you jest Oh Moronic One.

The only thing that Clinton avoided is prison time and if allowing the world to share his Oval Office blowjob is a testimonial to his superb character, then what else do we need to know about the moral fiber of the liberal community.

Bill Clinton, along with his bull dyke wife, will become our countries biggest embarrassment for generations to come. We have yet to hear the big story.

"allowing the world to share his Oval Office blowjob is a testimonial to his superb character"

LOL! I see we have another delusional idiot on board! You are forgetting, my dear imbecile, that it was the Repugs who decided that the adventures of Clinton's penis was more important than the concerns of the people. They felt inferior because he was doing such an excellent job, so they stooped to all-time lows to discredit him. It didn't work, he is still the best President this country has ever had.

To LOL:

If you are referring to the fact that the U.S. funded the Islamic fighters against the Russians in Afghanistan, under Republican Administrations, you raise an extremely impoertant point. Al Q grew out of this, and this is almost certainly the worst example of "blowback" (CIA term) in history.

But Clinton played the hand he had been dealt miserably from start to finish. For one example, I turn to the current issue of the New Yorker (Dec 24 & 31, 2001), where their movie critic, David Denby, reviews the movie "Black Hawk Down."

Denby states, correctly: "The episode in Mogadishu, of course, has been cited by Osama bin Laden as an example of American weakness (soon after the incident, President Clinton pulled the Special Forces out of Somalia), and may even have been a factor in bin Laden's calculations of how Americans would respond to an attack on their own soil."

And Washington ignored repeated requests by the American commander in the field for the tank support that could probably have prevented the tragedy.

Our mission in Somalia was as murky as Clinton’s true agenda. Carried out by a military that despised its chicken shit Commander in Chief, the end result was predictable. When American forces are structured to ‘dumb down’ their powers, then bad things will happen. I suspect our next excursion into this strategic piece of real estate will be soon and be swift.

Take a close look at where this country is located. Notice that over 55% of the Somalia border is COASTLINE. You don’t suppose our military would love to park some hardware there….ya think?

Like every incoming President before him, Clinton inherited problems and Somalia was one of many. Clinton and his ‘team’ were never capable of managing military operations and they just didn’t have the stomach for the job. Can you imagine Bill Clinton running our country in the present time?

I can see it now……Clinton and Bin Laden on Larry King Live……..

Bin Laden:

I want to thank you Mr. President for arranging for me this opportunity to speak with the American devils…..ah, I mean public. They should understand why we keepers of the true Islamic faith must kill them all.

Clinton:

You are most welcome Osama. I too would enjoy learning more about your exciting religion. Now, could you explain that ‘multiple wife’ thing to me?

TOTALLY SPECULATIVE PROPOGANDA

UNMITIGATED BULLSHIT HOGWASH

"Can you imagine Bill Clinton running our country in the present time?"

Absolutely. He would have whipped Al Qaeda's ass within days, and done it for a HELL of a lot less money.

In addition, he would not be giving $$$Tens of $$$Billions of taxpayer dollars under the guise of "911 assistance" to corporations who SHOULD be held responsible for their own losses, and whose insurance companies SHOULD be liable for compensating the victims.

-- (Dumbya is @ scumbag. fuckwad), January 01, 2002.

Boy, LOL, you are a true piece of work. Clinton whipping Al Qaeda's ass in days with a lot less money. Please please let us know how he would have done this.

-- Peter Errington (petere7@starpower.net), January 01, 2002.

I will just clean up and refrain from commenting on Clinton's 'superb' character.

-- lololololol (pamela_sue57@hotmail.com), January 01, 2002.

Hillary tells us “It takes a village”.

LOL, yours is looking for you now.

-- So (cr@t.es), January 01, 2002.

Yes, and included in Hillary's village is the Village Idiot Dumbya. Unfortunately he somehow got to be in charge, and the rest of the Villagers will pay the price.
