greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Printing & Finishing : One Thread

I'm about to print on Agfa Multicontrast Classic glossy finish paper and want to know about different developers and their effect on this brand of paper. without having to buy each brand. Can anyone offer some different options?

Response to Fiber developer

Greetings,

I haven't done extensive testing with this paper, but I have used it with a few different developers. I really can't say that I've noticed big differences, but one developer I really like is ethol LPD. You can use this developer in different dilutions to achieve warmer or cooler tones.

Regards,

My vote is for Ethol LPD as well.I have used it with Agfa Multicontrast Classic glossy with very good results. I use the 1:4 dilution and get a slightly warm neutral tone and a very good black

I use Agfa's Neutol WA with this paper. Great subtle warmtone effect.
