It All Began With Daisy by Sonja Jones is another wonderful book. Snow, Stars and Wild Honey sounds interesting, too!

"The Little House" series by Laura Ingalls Wilder is a great set of books about homesteading, even if you are an adult.

The new? book by well known homesteader John Seymour from across the pond, titled something like The Forgotten Skills and Crafts from Yesteryear, or something like that. Published by DK Publishing. $25.00 full price, bet Amazon or ebay can shave that some.
