Great Board (Goats - General)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Well I am not sure how this works, but I've read almost every comment here....even posted an answer.

But just had a real urge to tell you regulars that you are doing a great job!

PS--I am a cow person (sometimes run sheep too) but recently had to adopted 3 pigmy goats. 2 does and a buck...of course the doe's are about to drop and I am in a panic. Don't worry the buck is in his own pen, the does are separated but together. I am really concerned about their past nutrition but am a little mored prepared then most. But I was in enough of a panic to search the web!

Response to Great Board

Welcome Deb, I have only been here for the past two months but I can tell you there are a lot of people here who know their stuff. Ask a question and someone seems to have the answer. I hope you enjoy CS forum as much as I do. If you haven't already done so get Countryside Magazine.

Response to Great Board

Welcome Deb,

There's lot of goat info in the archives here. If you scroll down to the bottom of the main Countryside Forum page, you'll see all the different catagories. If you go to the top of the CS Forum page, click on Lusenet and scroll down to view the other forums, you'll see one for Dairy Goats. Not to take away from this beneficial site, but you'll find some goat 'regulars' there too.

BJ--soooo funny! :) I still don't understand how to post replies and continue threads... will it type just as I type, or can I use some html? Thanks for all the responses
