A "waker-upper-dream".

In the wee hours of this mornin-I was troubled in my spirit so much so that I ended up awake at about 5:30 am. I went ahead and got up because of that disturbing dream. Not an ordinary nightmare--this reached back into my mind some 30 years to when I was a police officer. A co-worker [also a cop and friend] was the subject of this upsetting dream. He was a wild dude-heavy drinker, womanizer and just plain wicked in the ways of the world. I never "ran" with him but had the occasion to work with'm on a daily basis at times. He and I would talk---him braggin about his "conquests" and me a "preachin". Seemed we just couldn't convince the other of our own way of thinkin and livin. I was concerned about his soul back then but apparently he wasn't because he never changed while I knew him.

After I quit that job and moved away from there --I lost track of him. Recently while stoppin in that town I ran across a couple of the officer I had worked with back then. I inquired of some of my old buddys and asked about this particular one. He had had a heart transplant several years ago and had since died.

I'm STILL troubled over this dream because I just can't put my finger on the meaning of it unless He died in his sins and is in hell. Makes me wonder if I could've done more to reach him. I am sure He will let me know sometime. He has NEVER shown me things unless an answer was also available. When He does let me know--I'll post it as a follow-up to this thread.

Have YOU made your preparations for Eternity? Hell is a very real and terrible place to be for even one second--not to mention FOREVER!
