What is left of the ex-ACL line running from Jacksonville, N.C. to Wilmington, N.C.? Was stationed at Camp Lejeune,N.C. and enjoyed watching the SCL local pass through town a couple times a week. THANKS, A. SALEKER CAPT U.S.NAVY (Ret.)

The depot is still there, and has had some work performed on it. In front of it is ex-Atlantic & East Carolina Rwy BW caboose #309, also undergoing repairs. All rail near the depot removed, and a stretch of the roadbed has been paved over on the SW side of the depot.
