CAN'T FIND MY THREAD . . . . RE: VENISON TASTES FUNNYgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
I wanted to attempt a recipe that was suggested to me on my former post where I stated my venison tasted funny. I have looked in the archives for over an hour and cannot find where it is stored!!! I deleted my emails accidentally and cannot locate the recipe that way either.I wanted to attempt the recipe suggested which included tomatoes and a slow cooker. Could the person who posted that recipe repost it here for me??
Thanks much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(I have cooked the venison in italian dressing marinade, as well as in a "roasting bag" for stew type meals. . . . but wanted to try the recipe as above.)

I would have put it under Wildlife/Game.

It is under wildlife/game. I just looked it up. One person said to soak however you want, cut in one inch cubes put in slow cooker w/can tomato soup and onions. Myself I use a can of stewed tomatoes and onions and either put in a slow cooker, roasting bag or low oven and it's always came out good.
