Current Standard for Transformers

The NEMA TP 1-1996 standard is voluntary. What is the current governmental requirement for the efficiency of low/medium voltage, dry-type transformers?

Matt,

Currently, there is no U.S. Federal Government requirement/minimum standard for transformers. Some states like Massachusetts, Minnesota, the City of Burlington VT, and soon New York and California, have set minimum efficiency levels for transformers and spec NEMA TP-1/Energy Star transformers for this. I hope this helps.
