cloth diapers--att'n: Canadians

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

Personally, I may go with disposables, but then again I might not. I have a friend in Ottawa who is looking for a good source of pre-folded, extra absorbency in the center, cloth diapers. I had given her some that I got at Wal-mart in the states, and she really liked them. She can't find them at the Ottawa Wal-mart, so she's been web-surfing for some. Do any of you who live in Canada know of a store that carries them?

HOPE THIS HELPS HER!

I only ordered the long life pants from them, but Kidalog out of Alberta has lots of cloth diapering products. I am using cloth for the first time on our fourth child and loving it. She has not had one rash with the cloth whereas the boys had rashes with the disposables all the time. I wish I had used cloth with the boys.

If your friend can sew, there are several sites that give instructions for making your own that are very simple. Simply do a google search for sewing diapers.

I hope this helps.

somebody GAVE me a box of "Kooshies". I don't know where to get them but they are the best. I add a folded diaper inside and they are marvelous. I have some of those from Walmart but as I understand it, they were discontinued.
