How about those PHILLY EAGLES???

I looked for a "Sports" category...sorry:)..I love football, especially when played really WELL...when i was in my 20s, I had problems with my mother-in-law because instead of hanging in the kitchen with the other women, I could be found cheering in the livingroom for Fran Tarkenton and the NY Giants with the guys..for you younger fans, Fran, the "scrambler" Tarkenton was QB for the Giants as well as later on for the Vikings (think 70s here LOL)..anyway, the Phillys actually have a QB who plays old-fashioned, football..he takes risks, runs with the ball, eludes tacklers, jumps right in there..not one of what i call the modern "sissie QBs" who are afraid of breaking a nail..yet the BEST thing about this fellow, MCNabb, was the manner in which he conducted himself, even applauding, genuinely, for his opponent's fantastic interception and runback for a TD..he is a young man, only 2 years in the NFL but how refreshingly professional!!!! Obviously, I enjoyed the game..any other football fanatics?????

I'm not a fanatic, but I'm hoping our Ravens can make it past Pittsburg, to their next challenge, and eventually to the big game again.

Right now I'm hoping the Rams will make some mistakes, so New England can advance........but it doesn't look promising.

Well, not football-baseball is another story-I love it. Thats was one of the hardest things about no tv was not watching the cubbies- but, not to worry, we can pick it up on Radio, and thats pretty cool. Unfortunantly all the owners squabbling has really put a damper on it. My sister liver in the D.R. for a few years-Everyone is insane about Baseball there-she loved it!!! Sammy Sousa is a National Hero.

Well, we are Pittsburg fans here! and they have had a great year! Hope they are in the Super Bowl and then I will have something to do besides watch for the funny new commercials (which are about as good as the game sometimes!) Sorry Rick we are on opposing sides here!

GO RAMS, GO RAMS, GO RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the Rams tomorrow over the Packers by at least 10 points...husband wants the Packers to win, but otherwise he is a nice guy to be around..Rams win with my projected spread and husband gets to cook MY favorite meal (lasagna)...heaven forbid my Rams LOSE, and I am doomed to make homemade chili (yuck)..should be a great game.....I really do not care who wins the other division championship as long as my RAMS are in the superbowl.....
