Chick'n gruel build'n stuff.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Cooking & Crafts : One Thread

Hey guys! Ya'll wanna know how to make chik'n gruel? Well, ok since ya'll insist. Usin "deboned" chicken breast, dump in a big kettle a can of corn, green beans, carrots, taters, peas, red beans, can of smashed maters, 4 onions, half head of cabbage, some celery and just about whatever else's layin around that ain't rotted or moldy. Cook that dude slowly for awhile--about 3 hours at the "house of hoot" and it's fit to eat. Course, bunches of iced T and and a handful of craks goes purty good with it too. I also dump quite a bit of pepper, salt and garlic powder in it too.

If anybody wants to know how to make beef stew--the hoot way---. Instead of old dead chik'n replace with about 6 pounds of lean beef, leave out the peas and also add some brussel sprouts.

Good site here and very much needed I think. I always am glad to see new buildin directions for grub. I have a bad habit of ettin that I just can't seem to kick.
