no . india should not wage a war agaist pakistan. a war is no solution to this grave problem which requires a diplomatic way of handling the situation. a war will just lead to destruction and drainage of our resources. there is pressure over pakistan n so it will probably not initiate it however a lot depends on india and it is definitely a wrong step.

India has been avoiding war from a long period. But, Pakistan is not at all concerned about the removal of terrorism from India. Therefore, India must wage a war against the mother of terrorism i.e. Pakistan.

In this current situation India should not wage a war against Pakistan. Thats because both of this power have possessed nuclear weapons so any kind of war will affected not only both of these countries but also the whole region. That means there will be a zero- sum situation. They can only threatend each other only when there internal political situation disbalanced as we have seen it for the last 10 years. There is only limited war can happend. Solution of this problem is to solve only through muti-lateral diplomatic efforts.

Hi, Do you think india and pakistan is really serious abt this? Both stateheads have enough internal nonsense to worry abt that they desperately need this 'external enemy' to cobble together whatever consensus they can. I see india as this big dinosaur lost in itself, afflicted with rashes , scratching all over and no time for anything . we never had a serious foreign policy since the days of Indira Gandhi i guess. Our political heads have, down the years, only mastered the subtle differences in 'support-from-inside' & 'support- from-outside' type coalisions. Alas only such people make to the top. Forget India, look at our neighbour, they need us for their survival as a single entity too. Just as the BJP-VHP-Hindhutva need the Muslim neighbour more than anybody , Musharaff needs the Indian's Auswitz equivalents like Gujarat to hold together mullahs and pathans :)

Lets come to the defense establishments, friend. The war mania should be alive and kicking how else can they justify the ever increasing defense expenditure and sweep the Kargil-coffin- jokes under the carpet.

But dont worry , both sides would not do anythign more than that. Atleast as long as american soldiers are stationed at Pak bases. :)
