They will be fine. My geese generally marry their own breed, but sometimes they hook up with a different breed. I even have a pair with a female African goose and a male Pekin duck!

Geese will mate with geese of other breeds. In general they hook up with the same but every spring we have a fight on our hands as the mixed pairs try to get back together. If you don't care about pure offspirng, then it doesn't matter in the least. The different breeds generally get along fine - just make sure there is enough room. Have fun.

Dusty,

I have a large African grey gander and a toulouse goose. They make beautiful babies.

You may want to mark pars when they lay (put on your suit of armor first hehe). Ours all paired or trio-ed? (one gander 2 geese) except one poor (guy I think) who was sort of pushed out of the flock for the spring while everyone attended to family affairs. I do not know if he fell for one of the sheep or just really hated being alone but the whole season he followed the flock all over the feilds. A few months later when everybody was hatced the flock reconvened and he was let back in the group. But if I had got them marked we could have given him to someone who may only want one poor little 'sheep-goose'
