An invention from an old dumb hillbilly. [preachin]

While drivin Lil Dumplin to Evansville Indiana this afternoon a "flash" of awesome "brane drain'n" kinda oooooooooozed from my tard old brane.

Have ya'll ever noticed men work on the High Voltage Transmission lines coming into your house or farm? When a line is "killed" so they can work on it---the connector is removed from the feeder line and coupled to the ground via a "hot stick". In the country the feeder lines are usually 7200 volts but could be 4160. Either way-if the "killed" line is not grounded a deadly voltage will be induced into the line. Anybody touching that unhooked line will be killed unless they are "gloving". [ "Gloving" is to use rubber gloves with leather gloves over them.]

Now, after that clear as mud description--have ya'll ever thought about capturing free current from the air? I have and have actually done it. By inserting a coil with, an iron core, within the lines of flux [electric field surrounding a "live or charged" wire] it's not only possible to induce a voltage in this coil it can actually be controlled somewhat.

I used to do it years ago while tinkerin around. Depending upon the size of wire in the coil, number of wraps and the size of the iron core--depending upon how much current/voltage those wires are carrying determines also the distance the coil has to be, in relation to that current carrying wire.

No direct connection to the power wires is necessary and would constitute theft of services if any type of connection was made.

INteresting? You bet! Well, to me it is. I'm as tight as bark onna tree and am always lookin for "free" or cheap stuff. I won't steal anything but if I can capture something that Almighty God has given to us then why should I pay somebody else for it?

How about capturing free current from the earth? That can be done too! I could go on and on but ya'll would think I've lost a brick or, worse yet, call me a "know it all". I"m not gonna argue about this with anybody-explainin how it works vs. how it won't work etc. I just know it does and don't question Him--the Provider of this knowledge.

Almighty God has provided us with everything we need while here on earth. The problem is that greed has slithered in and clouded the mindes of folks. I'm not as smart as the average joe but that's ok. I KNOW my limitiations and they are LIMITLESS! Why? "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me"! I'm a good listener to Him!

No, Hoot, I can't say that I've ever tried to capture electricity-I'm scared to death of the stuff! I did read somewhere though, that a sourdough starter will "Capture" yeast from the air, and that the more baking you do in your kitchen with yeast, the better your starter will be becouse of the yeast in the air. Who knows?

Some people believe that peoples "vibrations" are in the air and that, for example, if you walk into a room after people have had a big fight, you can still feel the anger in the air. Or you can go into a loving familyies house, even if they are away and feel the happiness there.

It just makes you think that theres more things on earth than we can see, or hear, or smell.

Interesting thoughts Hoot, sure you can gather energy by stringing a wire in the air where the wind can wipe a few electrons off but it won't do much. Of course you can gather a whole lot more when there is electrical activity in the region but few folks have figured out the safe handling procedures for lightning!

If you put a pickup device in the magnetic field of those power company lines you will indeed effect current in the lines and so be 'stealing' their service, maybe you doubt me. Consider this: You have created a transformer and load on the secondary puts a load on the primary.

Still, I agree it is an interesting subject and there is plenty of free power out there for the taking the wind and the sun are the most obvious.

Yeah John--you're right--however--Lightning cannot be contolled because it's static electricity--as far as I know. Stringin a wire into the air will capture a little voltage too-but again like you said-not enought to amount to much.

Without divulging too much information-what we did several years ago was not "any of the above" type of expermentation. No transformers, no attempting to harness lightning, no stealing of current. We're still working on the controlling aspects of the "theory turned reality" of capturing free power.

We did run a 120 volt 60 watt light bulb 24 hours a day for over 6 months without any connection to any power source except this little gizmotchie. A measley 60 watts sure ain't much to work with but then again--we did not try for a large device that would provide enough power to run an entire household. We are working on that now. NO moving parts, nothing to wear out, break down and with no expensive components to build.

I'm dumb as a rock most of the time but when something like this comes into my mind it's always worth the effort I have to put forth because the end result is way beyond my capacity to design. So--to paraphrase a little--the Word says something like-He will use the foolish to confound the wise" at times. This is exactly the case because everybody knows I'm not smart enough to design this thing.

I'll keep ya'll updated as "things" progress. Old hoot. Matt.24;44
