Oh my yes, thank you! I have 6 of the most beautiful, smartest grandkids there are!!! My oldest, Lindsey will be 10 next month. She is big in horses. She won the speech contest in her class - guess what her speech was on! They are wanting her to enter a speech contest at the U. of Ky. this summer! Her sister Emily is 5. She is so precious and loving! She has been wanting to learn to ice skate so her mother (my daughter) took her to the rink and it so happened they were starting a new class that day. They put skates on her and she went out skating and twirling! She is so petite I just cannot imagine her skating! These two live 50 miles away from me. The other 4 are in Florida so I don't get to see them as often. Rachel is 7. She swims on the swim team and is very smart and competetive. She is very outgoing and makes friends easily. Her brother, Nathaniel is 2 1/2. He is my only grandson and of course he is the smartest little boy around! The other two are Gabrielle who is 5 in 4 months. She is a beauty with naturally curly brown hair and big brown eyes. I tell her daddy (my son) he is really going to have to watch her when she gets older! Her sister is Olivia who is also 2 1/2. She has red hair and the personality to go with it! She also has naturally curly hair and is a doll! Too bad God didn't give us grandkids first, huh? They are all precious to me and they know it. Thank you Melissa for the opportunity to brag and probably bore everyone!!!

I saw my four grandchildren together this past weekend and it is always a joy. Being a grandmother is far more fun than being a mother! On another day, I'll bore you all with how wonderful and unique my grandchildren are! LOL!

I have three grandsons & when ever I see them /I tell them they are the cutest/sweetest/smartest/ most adorable boys in this whole world!!! I came from an abusive lifestyle---& was never told any thing postive- -ever!!! Much less ever told I was loved! So I tell them /I love them & how "special" they are/ each time I see them!!! And I send them cards in between visits to also remind them--- I also praise God for them each & every day!!! What a great privilage /I have to be their Grandmother & I'll never take that for granted!! Sonda

I have two beautiful grandsons: Alex, who is my brown haired, brown- eyed 10 year old (son of my son), and Ethan, my blond haired, blue- eyed 2 year old (son of my daughter). Alex lives near by and we spend Wednesday afternoons together doing all kinds of fun stuff. Ethan and his parents live 650 miles away in Virginia, so I only get to see him 3 or 4 times a year but he doesn't forget me. His mother is great about sending me pictures and I talk to them several times a week on the phone. Alex calls me "Grammy" but Ethan calls me "Mickey" (he definitely marches to the beat of a different drum).

I am constantly amazed at how bright these children are and how much they teach me. I do believe being a grandmother is much easier and more rewarding than being a parent.

Wishing you enough.

I have one Foster Grandson (from Foster Son) his name is Gavin he is 4 months old. He is laughing, rolling over and he spit up on my new Western Shirt. He lives about 70 miles from me and I don't get to see him as often as I would like.

I have a 3 year old grandson in Missouri and a 6 week old grand- daughter here in town and two grand-daughters ages 3 and 10 months in New jersey. I have seen the kiddos in NJ once and do not really know them at all...(youngest daughter is a bit of a squirrel and does not call us alot..she is an artist who thinks we are way too old fashioned for her taste LOL)...my grndson in St.Louis calls me evry day and say a "hello"..Last week I found thet wil be here for a visit after my daughter's last chemo treatment the end of February! I am so excited! Little guy was listening to me tell him about my chickens and piped up with "Grammy, I have chickens too!" I said really! Where do you keep your chickens in the middle of the city? He dropped the telephone and his mother said he went off to the refrigerator to count the eggs..he came back to the phone and proudly tol dme they had 7 chickens left because they had EATEN three this morning for breakfast!!!!! Wait until he sees the real thing running around the yard.LOL....Baby Sarah, 6 weeks old comes to visit every Sunday. When she was only a month old, she began to smile..really smile when anybody spoke to her..this is way too young to do that....I think babies are alot more social now than they ever were..anyway, it is so delightful to actually have a grandchild that I can see once a week..I found myself forgetting to say hello to the kids..just grabbing for the baby when they came in! On the other hand, in a moment of weakness, I volunteered to watch her overnight a week ago for the kids' anniversary..yeah, right....man, I could barely sleep just wondering how she was and if she were awake or wet or whatever....I think I got two full hours in..BTW, baby slept fine for a full 6 hours...nice thing is that I can play and spoil and cuddle and all those swell things and then give her back and say "BYE BYE now! Best of the best to be a grandparent!

First, there is Kayla, 12. She is my daughters daughter and a very interesting child. I see some of my traits in her and I understand her attitude pretty well. I think we're close because I cared for her while her mom went to school. Kayla loves horses, gardening, music, and she thinks that boys aren't worth the trouble. Her brother, Jeffrey is 4 and a very intelligent boy. I saw him born and it was a miraculous moment. He is very loving to all living creatures. I strongly suspect that he will try to charm his way out of any naughty antics he will do. Sarah is my son's first daughter and she is almost 13. She is very pretty and observant. Right now we are corresponding by letter and she wants to know my beauty secrets. Katie is her sister and she is 10. Oy vey! That one is going to be a rebel like me as a teenager! Show her a rule and she will break it! Her heart is tender though and will be easily broken. I will have to teach her how to be a survivor.
