Disrecognized Space

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

Hey. Just was checking this site out, Fabulous pics, made my heart go pitterpat! Love Trevor and Aeon's section. But Chaos is this still your site? Because as I was reading your guestbook this is what I found:

.: N A M E :. quartergill .: E M A I L :. quartergill@yahoo.com .: C O M M E N T S :. Aeon Flux has haunted me for 10 years. I watched the MTV liquid tv series and fell hard for the razor sharp Aeon Flux. I am well impressed with your site and have printed just about every page off. I want to get my sweaty little hands on every episode of Aeon. Is this possible? Everything I have found so far does not list the episodes the way you have here. Is the complete box set really complete. I do believe I would sell my soul to acquire a complete collection. I am also greatly saddened to hear that the creator of Aeon Flux has died. I feel that his Genius is unsurpassed and that he created the most unique character in the history of animation...thank you Peter Chung, we will miss your amazing and beautiful talent. .: D A T E :. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Have I missed something here? Are we the last to know, or is the report of his death greatly exaggerated?

I think I figured out this mixup. The following is a copy from the "Heavysun" site; a listing of his accomplishments and finally the date of his death: 1964. 6. 4 Born in Seoul 1983 Graduate from Yangjung High school. Majored in western paintings, College of Fine Arts at Chugye University for the Arts 1987 Majored in Aesthetics, Graduate school of Arts, Sejong University 1988 I.T.T Production, inc. started as an animator-HEEMAN2 (TV series by DIC), 007JUNIOR (TV series by DIC), MIDNIGHT EYES(Gokuwu) OVA, etc,. 1991 Branch office in the Philippines 1992 Branch office in China - King Arthur( series at Korea¡¯s SBS "The Knights of the Round Table¡± by DIC) 1996 Married, worked at Hanyoung Animation (Unimation World) -X-MAN original pictures by YoungPro & Samwon Anima - Original pictures of "IONE" DEMO, TV series 1997 participated in the making of ¡°Little hero Mangchi¡± demo by JCOM 1998 OVA Series by MADHOUSE, Japan (character design by Peter Chung) 1999¸» directing original pictures and painting of Alexander 2000 "Rallys & checkers" - Hamburger TV advertising, "Acturus" - Game Opening 2001. 3.31 Died

Guess they thought it referred to Peter Chung. I see he was involved with both Rally's and Alexander.

This is the address: http://www.disrecognizedspace.org/ You mean there are two disrecognized spaces? Check it out, really nice pictures of Aeon and Trevor. I put one from Tide up as wallpaper, (Aeon with the blonde mane in her mouth). It's a classy site, with er...only a few misinformatives...

Peter didn't die. These guys read about Heavysun, an animator who worked for Peter during the making of Alexander. He died. Frostbite, that is the most beautiful thing you've ever said.

There are no pictures at Disrecognized Space (www.chaosknight.com), it's just a temporary page. But I guess it is possible the site was put up without the domain name routing being fixed. I'll try to get ahold of Kay sometime for clarification.

Kay says that website does not belong to him. D.S. is on indefinite hiatus.

When did Peter die?

Peter has not died. If he died, I would know. I would feel it across the miles.
