Hi guys. Some friends of mine just got back on line. I told them about the CS forum and BTS and told them I'd nominate them for BTS.Their names---Mike and Julie. Julies a geriatic social worker and Mike's an extraordinary woodcarver, scrimshaw artist, gardener and artist type. They live in Lincoln co WI, about 50 miles north of me. I've known them about 5 yrs and they're good folks. Whattya think?

I think this sounds fine, john. They sound like really interesting people and would probably make a fine addition to the "family". I have no problem with you sending them the password - but perhaps it would be good to wait another day or two to give others on the forum a chance to give their input on the matter before you send Mike & Julie the password. The only other thing I would ask you to do is what I suggested to Polly in another thread regarding Alan Hagen's invitation:
It's no problem with me, Polly. Go ahead and send him the password. The only thing I would ask you to stress to him when you send him the password is that he NOT share it with others - If someone he knows wants in to the forum then he should bring it to the attention of the moderator(s) or the group as a whole.

Well, Jim's post explains why I just saw a post from Alan. That one had me scratching my head . . .. {note to self: Read all recent messages, then you can be confused if need be}.John, I assume your friends are interested in visiting us? I have no problems with them. I hope they WILL post . . . . ;-)

Me to..........tell them can not just lurk!!! We want to get to know people.

Still no word back from ernest.BTW, does anyone "know" nexar? He/she posts sometimes on FSR.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
O.K. fineWildman, (agreeing)
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
Sounds fine to me! (about Mike and Julie)I've never heard of nexar, but wonder if someone who likes FSR would like us? Do you all visit there?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
One of the things about nexar that caught my attention is he/she is often in disagreement with the paranoid conservative view of things espoused over there.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
yes john, nexar and I frequently agree. I usually enjoy his posts.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
Nexar seems to be a good fit. I say okay.Denise, boredom makes a person do funny things ;o) That's where I go to see what john and JOJ are up to; and to get my dose of paranoia!

Denise, I find that visiting the Freedom forum broadens my perspective on what people are thinking about events. I have stopped participating there though, cause I get in trouble. There are some people over there that have shown me "hot buttons" that I didn't even know I had!!!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
The initial response to nexar joining us here, albeit small, has been favorable. If its ok by ya'll I'll extend an informal "feeler" out to him and see if he's interested.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
What is nexar's email address please?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
EM: Nexars e-mail is Arax7@mvn.net
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2002
Hey, where's JOJ? (I miss the guy...) Speaking (not particularly) of folks we're wondering about!..
-- Anonymous, February 02, 2002
JOJ is at the Freedom forum, I think we must be boring to him. He loves to debate with Doreen and lambast LadyBugLaura.
-- Anonymous, February 02, 2002
It's been a long time since I've checked out FSR. Maybe I'll have to check into it again. Nexar sounds interesting.
