Lance is working tonight, so the boys and I will be having leftovers from last night. Lasagne, broccoli, salad and french bread, with chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert. My sister, brother-in-law, nephew and my mother came last night, and we all enjoyed this meal lots.
My sister also brought me a picture of my daddy's old Farmall H tractor that my uncle bought from mom and completely redid. New seat, overhauled the engine, new paint job and even new decals! It is beautiful! I plan on having an enlargement made and hanging it in my living room (I have a definite farm theme going. Roosters in the kitchen, tractors in the living room, probably the old separator in the dining room when I get it sandblasted and painted) Sorry to get a little off the topic, but I had to share this. It means a lot to me.

We're having a couple people over to share our dinner but dinner will be nothing fancy. Venison stew, fresh baked bread and chocolate chip cookies (baked a batch this morning for the youth group who are going on a trip this afternoon).I'll also offer ice cream because I love ice cream!

We had a huge pork roast, cooked with cream of chicken soup, regular Pepsi and an envelope of onion soup mixed and poured over it. I cooked it on low for twelve hours and it was fork tender. I planned for leftovers and next week we'll have pork sandwiches. Along with that we had baked potatoes and some mixed vegetables.

Chicken enchiladas with homemade salsa, a big green salad with everything but the kitchen sink in it. Dessert is ice cream for dh and I'll be finishing off the sugar-free jello with raspberries.
