St. Jacoba de Settesoli (Roman, noblewoman, mother of two, widow, friend of Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi, Franciscan tertiary, c. 1273)
St. John Charles Cornay (French, missionary priest, tortured and caged for three months, martyred [cut to pieces] in Vietnam [canonized 1988])
St. John of Matha (French, nobleman, hermit, theologian, priest, founder and first superior general of Hospitaler Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of Captives [Trinitarians], ransomed Christian prisoners of Muslims, died in Rome in 1223)
St. Josephine Bakhita [also known as Madre Moretta] (Sudanese, kidnapped by slave-traders at age 9, purchased by Italian, nanny, adult convert, religious sister for 50 years [Canossian Daughters of Charity], d. 1947 [canonized 2000])
St. Juventius of Pavia (Italian?, bishop, 1st century)
St. Kigwe (English, virgin, 5th century?)
Holy Martyrs of Persia (6th century)
Holy Martyrs of Constantinople (monks, martyred by schismatics in 485)
St. Meingold of Huy (Belgian, nobleman, d. 892)
Bl. Mlada of Prague (Czech, Benedictine abbess, d. 994)
St. Nicetius of Besançon (French, bishop, d. 611)
St. Oncho of Clonmore (Irish, poet, c. 600)
Sts. Paul, Lucius, and Cyriacus (Roman, early martyrs)
St. Paul of Verdun (German?, Benedictine monk, hermit, bishop in France, c. 649)
St. Peter Igneus (Florentine [Italian], Benedictine monk, cardinal archbishop, papal legate, c. 1089)
St. Stephen Cuénot (French, missionary bishop, martyred [dysentery or poison in prison] in Vietnam in 1861 [canonized 1988])
St. Stephen of Grandmont [Etienne] (French, permanent deacon, Benedictine abbot, d. 1124)
