Seems like the FBI has issued a new warning tonight. Seems like info they got from the detainees suggests that an attack will occur on or around Feb 12th. Be careful and oh so watchful for the next few days.

Apoc, I heard rumors about this last week, and now that it's gone "public," I'm no sure what to think. The intel has been so strange lately! It's like some folks in the intel business are scared to have another 9/11, so they're jumping at shadows to avoid "investigations" later.

I'm still on "high alert," and will remain there. Thing is, I'm in a college community, and a certain number of foreign students hanging around and asking location questions isn't unusual. The trick is remaining alert to things that push the envelope: a 20-something Middle Easterner with a tube sticking out of his backpack warrants attention. I heard a rumor that one was walking around campus like that. I hope it's a rumor because I would mention it to security if I saw something like that.

An advantage to having too many other day-to-day crises going on in my life is that I SO don't care about any of this.

OTOH, when my hot water tank died this weekend, and I had to shut the water to the entire house because the tank valve wasn't tight, it sure was nice having the supplies.
