Thank you Rev. Wiggs and all the others who have written me privately. God bless you, I was just recently released from the hospital, after being there for a week. I am Diabetic and got a severe infection in my foot. I am resting at home, receiving IV antibiotics. God saved my llfe! The doctors said if I had not gone to the ER when I did, the infection would have gone to my blood stream. I was laying in bed and God told me to go to the ER. He is doing amazing things with my healing. And I am surrounded by his love and my congregation. I will never be able to put into words how much I love God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, for through the pain, God has not forgotten me. My only reason to live is to serve God. Again thank you for thinking of me.

My dear sister,

You've been in my prayers daily because I'd not seen a post from you. Because I don't have a computer at home and couldn't contact after leaving work but, I'd leave here everyday wondering how you were.

I thought I had posted this question on Thursday of last week and again on Monday, only to find out later that I must have hit the wrong button.

Anyway, dear sister, you are in our prayers. I talk about you so much, sister, until the folk I'm talking to think we've known each other for years. They're shocked when I tell them we've never met personally.

But, you've been such an inspiration to me, so much so that I would print and share your posts with my relatives and friends so that they too could be encouraged.

"A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all." Psalm 34:19 NIV

Love you,

Hi Rev. Rogers,

I am glad that you are out of the hospital. I am going to pray that you will have a speedy recovery. I wish you and your family all of God's blessings. I am also happy to tell you that the problem I discussed with you a few weeks ago is being worked out. I am amazed at how God is operating in my life. You advised me at the time to have intercessory prayer. However, I didn't realize until just now that I asked two other co-workers in the office many months before this situation arose that we should have prayer together. Even though we didn't pray about this specific situation, from time to time we prayed about the mission of our office in general. Miraculously things are turning around. Thank you again for your wonderful advice!

Jazzman I am so happy things are working out for you. And God is doing speedy recovery on me. The doctor was thrilled yesterday when I went for my visit!! I have a pulse in my foot now, I did not have one a week ago. And I will not have to have my foot amputated. Prayer works!!! One of the things I did when I was in the hosptial was to ask the doctors and nurses if they were Christians, the majority were. I would then ask that we pray together. One day the cleaning lady came in and joined us for prayer. We were all one for Christ! Jazzman I am finding that every circumstance is an opportunity for prayer! God wants us to pray and go to him. It was a rough time in the hospital, as doctors and specialists worked on my foot. But through it all, our faith got stronger as we prayed together. I will be preaching this Sunday and I thank God I have the opportunity to sing his praises. My congregation is amazing, and though I was not in church last Sunday, I am told it was a fabulous service. My daughter and our WMS president did the service. No matter what comes my way, God is with me.

Rev. Rogers,

Praise God for your healing. This goes to show you that we need to follow our hearts. I don't come on here everyday, but when I have I'd realized that I hadn't seen you. And this weekend you were very much on my mind and it was my intention to send you a private email. The time will not turn back for me to do that, but I praise God for his mercy and his grace. He's enabled me to tell you how much you are appreciated and were missed greatly.

I love you Rev Rogers. My sister in the Lord.

In Christ, Carmen

Rev. Rogers, we thank you for the wonderful news regarding your recovery. We know that "without faith it is impossible to please God," therefore we can acknowledge that 'thy faith hath made they whole'. Glory to His name. We continue to pray for your strength and we thank God for you, a living testimony.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."

Blessings of love, peace, joy, and hope,

Rev. Wiggs you are wonderful, thank you for always thinking of me. I told my congregation I had to preach this sunday for I heard last sunday was fabulous without me!(heehee) Seriously, my daughter and the rest of the staff are all leaders and I am so proud of them. I want my congregation to know that church should not be about Denise Rogers, but that it should be about telling the good news of Jesus Christ. My speedy recovery is the work of God! And when we share what God has done for one of us, we can be encouraged and know he will do that for all of us! This Sunday I will be preaching from a wheel chair, ( I need it for four more weeks) which should be funny, because I like to walk around when I preach. But God is so good! And everyone has been so kind and loving. I live in a small town, so everyone knows;-) Being A.M.E has also been a blessing, for Rev. Dr. Cee and Bishop Bryant have been so supportive and incredible sources of strength. I was suppose to take the youth group bowling next week, but darn I guess we will have to change it to skiing.

PREACH!!! PREACH!!! Dear sister. From the wheel chair? Ha! No problem! I see you and the wheel chair walking and dancing in the spirit! For we walk by faith, not by sight! Show us the way, Lord to tell the story!

We thank our FATHER, for Episcopal leaders who reach out and display love, support, and encouragement. It was Jesus who looked upon the multitude and was moved with compassion towards them, HALLELUJAH! And his compassion turned to ACTION! PRAISE GOD! We also thank God for godly leaders in our local churches, such as your daughter and the WMS president, who know THE WAY; who will pick up their cross daily and FOLLOW HIM WHO IS ABLE TO KEEP US FROM FALLING!! GLORY TO GOD!!

With much THANKSGIVING I give God the praise for the great things He has done in restoring your health. The joy of the Lord is our strength. HALLELUJAH!!
