Response to Alo vera.

It stores best in the live plant.

An aloe vera can be a house plant, protected in winter via indoors, and is good for burns (straight juice) or in capsuls internally for belly problems.

You can take some of the leaves (is that what they are?) put them in a blender and keep it in a bottle as a salve. We just break off a piece and rub it on the area.

I had a lot of extra Aloe Vera one time and I just took the "leaves" and put them in a freezer bag and popped them into the freezer. It worked fine. Cool gel feels good on a burn too as long as it is thawed out first.
