RACIST.

RACIST.

I'm off to phone Alan Robson about the institutionliesd racism that is rife on this BBS.

After that I will lead a whole group of charvas with full pram accesories on a march against these nazis.Well once they have finished outing peadophiles in Portsmouth!!

Good on you

I'm dead jealous that they have signed him. Really good player. Really typical that they wouldn't buy him out-right, though...

He's very talented, but also very inconsistent.

Turns it on for the big games, which is why I think he'll score against us. Hopefully Eriksson will be at the match so we don't have to take care of Phillips.

Mbomba signed on Valentine's Day and says he'll seduce Reidy. Too much of a coincidence for me, just watch him get sent off and be followed by Reidy down the tunnel (of love)

Just like we did with Distin, eh Dougal?? At this stage of the season, many teams will look to rent boys (or maybe men in Mboma's case) rather than buy outright.

And Jenas and Lolo and Bellamy, Screach..

-- Anonymous, February 14, 2002

PS. Screach - although few clubs will be as cash rich as the Makems must be....

Dougal - I didn't say "all". I said "many". The flaw in my argument was perhaps the stage in the season we got Distin. He was early on (close season?).

The reason that this is often the case is that the teams are either unsure of how the player will settle (for example Saha and Distin) or they don't have enough money to put up front (Leeds with Keane). But as you say, in this case, it surely can't be the lack of funds in Scumland.

PS. Despite all logic in favour, AFAIK, Screach hasn't signed for Toon yet ;-)

Plus the fact that it's not yet certain which division Sunderland will be playing in next year. The club probably don't want a player on his kind of wages if they get relegated, and the player himself wouldn't want to be there, so a loan suits all parties.

He's got a hell of a shot on hiim, but I think he'll struggle in the PL. Wonder how the cockney munchkin will feel about it?

He's off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Hod...
