Hey Melissa, it's Thursday morning!

I didn't lose as much as last week but I did still lose 2 pounds! That was a relief as I was afraid last weeks loss might have been a fluke, LOL. Considering I can't exercise right now, I'm happy with the 2 pounds.

Well, I still haven't weighed. We don't own a scale, and I haven't been to the doctor's office. BUT, I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast since we started this, and even for lunch occasionally, and I feel so much better! I've been drinking more water, too. I've cut way down on the sweets, and I can really tell a difference in how I feel. This is a very good thing! :-)

I didn't own a scale either for many years, I can usually tell by the feel of my clothes whether I'm gaining or losing. But I recently was given a good bathroom scale and right now I need the motivation of knowing exactly what I'm gaining/losing. I just checked with a friend who's been on the same diet as I am (but a couple weeks longer), she's lost 11 1/2 lbs. That's really encouraging to me.

I agree, the change in my diet and drinking more water has made me feel a lot better.
