Would like to know anyone using Vivitar 285 flash with M3 experience. What is the best sync cord for the setup? Thanks

Answers

Unless your M3 has had the sync plugs replaced with M4-type, you'll need an adaptor which is available at many large stores. Then the standard Vivitar-to-PC cord will work, or you can buy a cold-to-hot shoe adaptor and just slip the 285 into it.

Have a look at Paramount Cords. Their stuff is made a fair bit tougher than your standard no-name PC cord fare.
