I wimped out and couldn't go on vacation

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dairygoats : One Thread

I was supposed to leave yesterday for 3 days at my husband's cousin's house in a ski resort here in Maine. I went out to feed the goats and the one due next week (I think...she's very secretive about this breeding stuff) didn't eat her morning grain and looked a little loosey goosey in the back. Well, she ate fine last night, laughing at me as she did so since I had stayed home just in case. Rotten child! Well, that just means that I'm having a quiet day at home with the place to myself, which is a good way to spend vacation!

Hope all is well... ENJOY the day alone, I always think there are good reasons for the things we do/don't do. :) Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Sheryl, just something in the air! I am not going away this weekend either. I am worried about one of my does also! She was leaking fluid, so I caught some of it, took it to the vet, who put a lipis (sp) paper into it, it was URINE! Rotten child indeed! Vicki
