"Spring has sprung, Mr Mole is well. I'll take my rifle and send'm to the happy huntin ground, and he will say "swell".

The first indication that spring is here---Mr. Mole had made his appearence via all those purty little "mole tunnels" out in my side yard. The next thing--Ole Calvin dun and caught one last Sunday. Started eatin his'n little haid off after show'n'm off to Lil Dumplin and me.

Got the old Troy Bilt out today, hooked it to the little two wheeled trailer to move trash to the burn place. After burn'n all it I had some old magazines I loaded on and took to a gully in the edge of my grasswaterway and field. While depositin those magazines in the "wash" I noticed another indication of spring. Mr Groundhog had made a brand spankin new den entrance at the edge of my field. That old dude had the hole worn slick, he did. Now, if we could all say or sing in unison---"Lead Posionin" from the Swedish Mauser---6.5 X 55!

Got my new phoney bill today. Ain't nuthin phoney about it tho. The new rates doesn't charge per minute, as near as I can tell, but just the connect fee of 4 cents per call in my local area. Somehow, I still am unconvinced that it is to benefit the customer! Oh well, I'm still checkin on an unlimited cell for S. Ill for about 35. per month. All I have to figger out is how to hook up a fax to that cell!

Was forced to go to wallyworld East today. [Not to be cornfused with wallyworld west, our local scrap yard.] Looked all over dear old Olney, IL for a blue porcelin [yeah I know it's spelled wrong but what the hey] cooker thing for cannin stuff. NOBODY had the thing ceptin old wallyworld. I reluctlantly went, loaded it in my cart [$16.00 ] and headed for the checkout! Guess what! Out of about 14 lanes only 4 were open, folks were standin in line and the old hillbilly gettin rather angry. NO, that ain't the word. I was gettin MAD! Was just fix'n to leave --without the canner thingy and a quick lane opened up right where I stood. So-I went ahead and checked out.

I read Chucks post on the beautiful sunset and agree with him totally. When we are about to "blow our stacks" then He shows us some of His Marvelous Glory!

Because of Him, I can face tomorrow. Otherwise it would be constant roadrage whether on the road or settin at home. To God be all the Praise, Honor and Glory! old hoot gibson. Matt.24:44
