BBC Radio 4's You & Yours - Halifax Mortgage Shortfall

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Repossession : One Thread

BBC Radio 4's You & Yours are producing a special feature and discussion on mortgage shortfall. We are particularly interested in stories from people who are or have been victims of the Halifax mortgage shortfall debt and lenders tactics. Mortgage shortfall is a big story, and one which we would like to be able to look at properly. We'd like to talk to people who would be happy to tell us their stories and highlight common abuses.

If you're able to help, we'd be delighted to hear from you.

With thanks

I believe that I have given the Halifax every chance to make amends for their gross negligence and blatant untruths. Yet, blinded by their sheer arrogance, they contine to perpetuate their wrongdoing. The last opportunity for the Halifax to put right what they did wrong in my case has now passed.

I will definitely be taking up this offer from the BBC and I intend to supply them with all the documented evidence they need of common abuses by the Halifax.

If the Halifax is always giving you extra grief then I encourage you to do the same.

I am happy to supply our details whereby Halifax's solicitors Addleshaw Booth contacted us 6 years and 1 month after our house was repossesse in Feb 1995. They claim they are within the 6 year period because they sold the house at a lower price than they had previously refused from a buyer we had found over 1 year earlier in June 1995 and claim that the 6 years starts from then.
