I'm going down there today to see how things are going.

last I heard, the plumber was due to install the shower pan [liner] and the tub, then those need to be inspected. the guys were putting up the tile walls in the bathrooms. The trench has been filled in and cemented. All the old tile has been removed.

They repainted the living and dining/kitchen. Wrong green, though. So, they have repainted again. We are hoping they get the right tile for the floor and maybe get that going soon.

At the moment we are more concerned about our dog, Bunky. He was mauled by a big black dog yesterday. That dog's owner is footing the vet bill as Bunky has been in the hospital since yesterday.

The vet said he had lots of tubes connected to him, and the vet also had to sew up an area of skin that was ripped when the big black dog picked him up and shook him like a rag doll.

Our other dog is in the mood to get even. Whenever he goes outside now he wants to go over to the house where the big black dog is and give him what-for.

Dad was upset, too. That I don't need; Dad having a heart attack from something like that.

The car cost 1300.00 and it sounds like the manifold is not attached. Not sure if I want to take it back there. Had a bad experience with that shop when I picked up the car. They tried to say I wanted them to fix the door handle on the driver's door, which is not true since it worked when I left it there. I told the bitch that if I had wanted it fixed then she shouldn't have been telling me the car was ready since it wasn't fixed. Then I told her boss the same thing, and mentioned I would have no problem calling a news crew or two and telling them the whole thing as well. They fixed the door at no charge.

Wow! It sounds never-ending right now. I didn't know that about your dog. Sorry to hear of the mishap.

Things will be better soon!

If not, you're welcome to come up to Ohio and play in the snow! (;

4 pictures of bunky, linked below.

He is home now, and he ate some too. He really needs to rest and be still, but he is eating which is a good sign.

Seems the owner of the big black dog had the big black dog put down this morning. She had spent a sleepless night thinking "it could have been a child" and took him in instead of going to work.

Um...

He is a Yorkie.

Oh, the poor little guy! I'm glad he's eating, and your neighbor very likely did the right thing. Unfortunately, there are just some genetically unstable dogs out there that are prone to violence. Re- training can help in some cases, but not everyone wants to invest $700 - $1000 in it, not to mention the neighbor was probably also worried about a lawsuit, which could easily cost $2500 (or more).

Well, tomorrow is March. In Ohio, we have about three more weeks of potentially sub-zero weather, then my outdoor projects will start in earnest. I hope that as I begin my landscaping project that you are enjoying your new tile! (:

I added five pictures of him without the bandage around his middle.

Warning!

Not for the faint of heart.
