Feeding babies

Well, it has been a hectic week here in Arkansas. Two days ago one of our momma cows died, we have no idea why. She had a 10 day old calf, so guess who his new momma is? The boys are excited about getting to feed him, and he is awful sweet, it's just one more thing to do!! I had to take the cow off to a tiger sactuary to get rid of her. It was gonna cost $50 to have a back hoe come dig a pit for her to be buried, so I figured it was cheaper to spend $5 in gas to take the cow to the tigers and get some good out of her. I enjoyed seeing the wild cats, they are beautiful.

My two youngest boys have been in a basketball tournament this week. #2 son's team lost on Monday, so he was out early. #3 son's team won all their games so far and we play tomorrow in the finals! It is soooo exciting for a 7 year old! He plays like a little demon and I must brag, last night he made his teams first 6 points. I'm not a sports person, but I do love to watch my boys play.

My oldest has had youth leadership at church, try-outs for yearbook and the track team, so he is busy too. He also babysits 2 boys after school 4 days a week for a single mom friend of ours. So I stay busy with him too.

This has just been one of those weeks when you can do nothing but praise God for all he has given us. We are so blessed that sometimes it is hard to grasp. I am very thankful for a wonderful husband, our farm and three great kids who are also healthy. Although, I forgot to add, my middle son cut his hand open Sunday night at church, so I'm having to keep that bandaged and we are on antibiotics for infection. Oh well, THAT"S LIFE!!!
